Types of Engineering
There are many types of engineering. Engineering is a branch of science that deals with the conception and devising of technology and the feasibility of application to the human race in the simplest possible manner. It is nothing but the practical application of science and maths to solve problems and to make things work from the start to the end of each day. Engineering is finding creative, economical and feasible solutions to problems. In simple words it is formulating and designing solutions to make our day to day work easier and manageable.
One who practices engineering is called an engineer and this term is derived form the Latin word ingeniar or ingenium which literally means to construct or to devise. Engineers are rightly termed as problem solvers who aspire to make things work more effectively, quickly and at a reasonable cost. Engineering is one of the most preferred streams in the education industry today.
